Probably the most important thing is that a year ago around this time I decided to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. That was three years of investigating before I took the final plunge. With it being my anniversary just brought me back to the strong feelings of the spirit. I still feel a strong sense of faith and the spirit guiding me into the right direction. It feels amazing to stand for something so truth.
I won't say that I've experienced it all in my first year, but I came pretty darn close in my books. When I join I really wanted to work for it, I really tried to do everything I can. And those experiences that I've had whether it's going to the temple or giving a talk or baring my testimony to a stranger have all profound meaning to me. One of the lessons I did learn is to not over do it and not to rush things. I was trying so hard to be a go getter, that I just needed to lift where I stand.
Overall thought my experiences have led to this moment right here. I have a lot of decisions to make and I know with the help of God I will make the right ones. And just keep on keeping on.
In other news, the movie I've waited nine years to see was leaked out on April fools. If you read the Kitsch blog, you know I'm talking about X-Men Origins, it's my last attempt to still feel like a kid. And it's helps the my two favorite characters are finally hitting the big screen, as in Gambit and Deadpool. But I did see the leaked version, which had 20 minutes missing and unfinished special effects, but still I waited nine years for something and I'm still gonna see it when it comes out. Good movie and gonna patiently wait for the final verison to make a final review.
Aside the movie, my room is now just amazingly clean, it's like temple clean. I'm pretty proud of myself about it so I'll give it it's dues now.
With all the good happening the only bumper was UNC winning the national championship in a blow out. I hate UNC this year and I hate blow outs. I'm so glad that Tyler can become a scrub now in the NBA with J.J. Redick and Adam Morrison and or for those BYU fans remember Rafael Araujo. If Tyler becomes the next Lebron James, you have the right to punch me in the face.
Take it easy.
Dear Mr. Bojangles:
This is a testimony to kill you

I can't believe it's been a year, Greg. That's awesome. I was there! :) You have gone through a whole lot since then, and I'm glad you're still feeling the good feelings. You should definitely come over and visit soon!
